A Perfect Circle teases something called "The Doomed"

The enigmatic band -- as is the case with most of Maynard James Keenan's projects -- has shared a cryptic teaser on their social media. The post features APC's logo along with the phrase "The Doomed."

For those starved for new A Perfect Circle material -- the band hasn't released a new album since 2004's eMOTIVe -- hopefully "The Doomed" refers to a new song, or even a new album. The band has been working on the follow-up to eMOTIVe, and they debuted two new songs on their tour earlier this year: "Feathers" and "Hourglass."

A Perfect Circle will embark on a fall North American tour beginning October 21 at Sacramento's Aftershock festival.
