Pop Evil announces new self-titled album; listen to single "Waking Lions" now

Credit: Steve Sergent Pop Evil has announced the details of their next album. The fifth studio effort from the Michigan rockers will be self-titled, and arrives February 16.

Your first preview of Pop Evil, the band's first album with drummer Hayley Cramer, comes in the form of the new single "Waking Lions," which is available now for digital download. You can also watch the track's accompanying video now on YouTube.

"This is a Dawn of a New Day for Pop Evil," says frontman Leigh Kakaty. "The new lineup feels like a whole new chapter for us. We could not be more proud to lead off this new album cycle with 'Waking Lions,' sending a positive message to our fans."

Pop Evil is the follow-up to 2015's Up, which spawned the singles "Footsteps," "If Only for Now," and "Ways to Get High."
