Sound on Sound festival, featuring Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Iggy Pop, canceled

ABC/Randy HolmesThe Sound on Sound festival, which was scheduled to include performances from Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Iggy Pop and The Shins, has been canceled.

"This is one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make," reads a statement on the festival's website. "Due to several recent roadblocks outside of our control and in an effort to do right by our fans, the decision to cancel the event was our only real option."

Sound on Sound was scheduled for November 10-12 in McDade, Texas. All ticket holders will be refunded.

Sound on Sound was the first Yeah Yeah Yeahs show announced in three years. Luckily, the band has added several other concerts for this year, including headlining dates in Los Angeles on October 25 and Brooklyn, New York on November 7.
