Foster the People scrolls through Instagram in "Sit Next to Me" video

Columbia RecordsFoster the People has premiered the video for their single "Sit Next to Me." The clip zooms in on a phone and scrolls through a seemingly infinite Instagram feed. You can watch the video now via YouTube.

"It was fun to play with the premise of a music video that hijacks your social feed," says co-director Fourclops. "Instagram is a major destination for consuming media these days, and it made for an exciting setting for our video. We asked ourselves, what would it look like if all of the accounts within Instagram become transformed by a song?"

"Sit Next to Me" is a single from Foster the People's new album, Sacred Hearts Club. The track currently sits in the top 20 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart.
