Eve officially replaces Aisha Tyler on "The Talk"

The rapper-actor has joined CBS' The Talk as an official co-host. 

She joins Julie ChenSara GilbertSharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood, and replaces comedian-actress Aisha Tyler, who had left to focus on other projects.   

She made her official debut today.

“Once I did the first test week and I met all the ladies, I felt the energy — not only from them but everyone I met on the set, and it was great," Eve told Deadline

"It was one of those exciting moments in life where I thought it would be a good challenge for me. 

If it feels right, then it must be right."

Eve, who is known as one of the most prominent female rappers in history, starred in her own UPN comedy, Eve, in the 2000s. 

She also has a notable list of film credits that include xXx, Whip It and Barbershop film series.
