The Cure announces special 40th anniversary London show

Also performing at the concert will be a variety of bands influenced by The Cure, including Interpol, Editors, Goldfrapp, Ride, Slowdive and The Twilight Sad. Even more artists are yet to be announced.

The Cure formed in 1976, and released their first single in 1978. The band was a seminal act in the post-punk and new wave scenes of the '80s.
