Queens of the Stone Age to headline In Bloom festival; BBC scraps Josh Homme "Bedtime Stories" episodes

Credit: Andreas NeumannQueens of the Stone Age, along with Beck and Incubus, will headline the 2018 In Bloom festival, held March 24-25 in Houston, Texas.

The lineup also includes Highly Suspect, Wolf Alice, Moon Taxi, Sylvan Esso, Broken Social Scene and Explosions in the Sky. Visit for the full lineup and ticket info.

Seeing Queens of the Stone Age on the lineup might come as a bit of a surprise in light of frontman Josh Homme kicking photographer Chelsea Lauren during a show in Los Angeles over the weekend. The fallout from the incident continues, with the BBC children's channel CBeebies scrapping two upcoming episodes of the program Bedtime Stories featuring Homme, according to the U.K.'s The Telegraph.

Homme had recorded three Bedtime Stories segments, the first of which premiered in October. A spokesperson for CBeebies tells The Telegraph that the other two episodes will not air "until the matter is resolved."

"We won't broadcast any new material or re-broadcast [Homme's] previous story," the spokesperson said.

Lauren suffered neck and head injuries after Homme kicked her camera during Saturday's L.A. show. Homme has since offered a written and video apology.
