Bastille recruits an orchestra for Reorchestrated tour 

ABC/Randy HolmesBastille will the road next year on a U.K. tour, and they'll be bringing a lot more instruments with them this time.

Dubbed the Reorchestrated tour, the run will feature the British band accompanied by an orchestra and choir.

"Earlier this year, we did a special one-off show to raise money for [the] Streets of London [charity]," says frontman Dan Smith. "In it, we deconstructed and totally rearranged a bunch of our songs using strings, brass, and a gospel choir. It was one of my favorite things we've ever been able to do."

"We are incredibly excited to take that setup on the road for this Reorchestrated tour," he continues. "It makes for a very different kind of Bastille show where we totally reframe and reimagine our songs with the help of some incredible musicians, in a special and intimate setting."

The Reorchestrated tour is limited to the U.K. for now, running from April 10 in Manchester to April 16 in London. Visit for ticket info.

Meanwhile, Bastille's new song "World Gone Mad" appears on the upcoming soundtrack for the Netflix film Bright. The album, which will be released December 15, also features Portugal. the Man, Tom Morello, Alt-J, X Ambassadors and Rag'N'Bone Man.
