Queens of the Stone Age "Ellen" appearance canceled

Credit: Andreas NeumannQueens of the Stone Age had been scheduled to perform on The Ellen Degeneres Show on Thursday, but the appearance has apparently beeb canceled in the wake of frontman Josh Homme kicking a photographer during a Los Angeles show last weekend.

According to the Ellen website, only Will Smith appeared on today's episode. It's unclear whether the producers canceled the performance, or if the band themselves voluntarily pulled the plug.

During a concert in L.A. on Saturday, Homme kicked photographer Chelsea Lauren, who suffered neck and head injuries as a result. Homme has since offered a written and video apology. His appearances on the BBC children's program Bedtime Stories have been postponed.
