The Shins to release "flipped" version of "Heartworms"

ABC/Randy HolmesThe Shins are pulling a Kendrick Lamar and releasing a reversed version of their new album, Heartworms. Fittingly titled The Worm's Heart, the updated album will be released on January 19.

In addition to a reversed track list, each song on The Worm's Heart will be a "flipped" version that changes the tempo and style of the original Heartworms track. The Shins released "flipped" versions of "Name for You" and "Cherry Hearts" earlier this year.

Here is the track list for The Worm's Heart:

"The Fear (Flipped)"
"So Now What (Flipped)"
"Heartworms (Flipped)"
"Dead Alive (Flipped)"
"Half a Million (Flipped)"
"Rubber Ballz (Flipped)"
"Mildenhall (Flipped)"
"Fantasy Island (Flipped)"
"Cherry Hearts (Flipped)"
"Painting a Hole (Flipped)"
"Name For You (Flipped)"
