Report: 50 Cent gets "Power" lawsuit dismissed

ABC/Paula Lobo50 Cent has reportedly won another powerful victory.

According to TMZ, a judge has officially thrown out a lawsuit against the Queens rapper that accused him of ripping off someone else's work to help him create his hit Starz show, Power.

The gossip site says two men had written a play called Dangerous, which they believe has the same story line and plot of Power

However, the court reportedly did not agree with the men's claims, saying the plot contained common elements that are in public domain.

"One need only look to such shows and movies as The WireEmpireBreaking BadNarcosWeedsCarlito's WayAmerican GangsterNew Jack CityScarface and Paid in Full," the judge reportedly said.

The news comes after a federal judge dismissed a copyright and fraud case against 50 and his Power showrunner, Courtney Kemp, in September.

They had been accused of ripping off their hit series from Larry Johnson's manuscript, Tribulation of a Ghetto Kid
