Boston plotting major North American trek called the Hyper Space Tour

Credit: Kamal AsarBoston is planning to return to the road in a big way in 2017. The veteran rockers have announced that they will embark on a 48-date North American trek, dubbed the Hyper Space Tour, that will kick off April 14 with a concert in Hollywood, Florida.

So far, only 10 shows have been confirmed for the outing, which currently is mapped out through an April 26 performance in Little Rock, Arkansas. Among the other cities Boston will visit are St. Augustine, Florida; Mobile, Alabama; and Shreveport, Louisiana. Tickets are available now via

Boston continues to be led by founding lead guitarist and songwriter Tom Scholz. The band's most recent album, Life, Love & Hope, was released in December 2013.
