Mary J. Blige releases new single, "U + Me (Love Lesson)," from forthcoming album

ABC/Fred WatkinsMary J. Blige's new single, "U + Me (Love Lesson)," arrives today, giving a lesson on love while providing therapy to listeners who have also dealt with heartbreak themselves.

The ballad, released months after her divorce from ex-husband Kendu Isaacs, features the singer contemplating the end of their relationship, as she realizes the partnership is truly over.

"And I just can't deny the fact/we don't belong together/Guess it ain't the real thing," she croons on the track.

Mary's forthcoming thirteenth album, Strength of a Woman, is due to arrive everywhere later this year.
