The Who's 2004 Isle of Wight performance to be released as video/CD collection

Eagle Rock EntertainmentIn June 2004, The Who gave their first performance at the U.K.'s Isle of Wight festival since their classic 1970 appearance at the famed U.K. music extravaganza. Now, a new audio/video collection documenting the event will be released on June 2. Live at the Isle of Wight Festival 2004 will be available at a DVD/two-CD set, a Blu-ray/two-CD collection and digital download.

The concert featured such classic Who songs as "I Can't Explain," "Substitute," "Who Are You," "Behind Blue Eyes," "Baba O'Riley," "You Better You Bet," "My Generation," "Won't Get Fooled Again," and "Magic Bus." The set also included an acoustic rendition of the rarity "Naked Eye" and performances of two then-new tunes -- "Real Good Looking Boy" and "Old Red Wine" -- as well as a segment saluting the band's legendary 1969 rock opera, Tommy.

The Who's 2004 Isle of Wight show was one of the band's first concerts in its home country since the June 2002 death of founding bassist John Entwistle.

You can check out a video of The Who playing "Naked Eye" at the show at the band's official VEVO YouTube channel.
