Muse premieres slinky new track, "Dig Down"; watch action-filled video now

Credit: Danny ClinchAs promised, Muse released their new single "Dig Down" today. The slinky track features a pulsating bass beat while frontman Matt Bellamy declares that "we must find a way" while delivering some Queen-esque vocals.

"Dig Down" is accompanied by an action-packed video, which you can watch now on YouTube. The clip stars model Lauren Wasser, who lost her leg to toxic shock syndrome, and features an elevator scene very reminiscent of Aliens.

"When I was writing this song, I was looking to counteract the current negativity in the world and give inspiration, optimism and hope to people to fight for the causes they believe in," says Bellamy in a statement. "That as individuals we can choose to change the world if we want to."

This weekend, Muse will kick off a North American tour alongside Thirty Seconds to Mars. They'll also be headlining this year's Lollapalooza, Bunbury, Firefly and Life Is Beautiful festivals.
