Jack White writes children book based on The White Stripes' "We're Going to Be Friends"

ABC/Nicole WilderThe tale of Suzy Lee will continue in We're Going to Be Friends.  It's a children's picture book based on The White Stripes song of the same name, written by Jack White himself.

We're Going to Be Friends was illustrated by Elinor Blake, who's worked on The Ren and Stimpy Show and Pee Wee's Playhouse.

Included with the book will be a recording of the original White Stripes song, which originally appeared on the band's 2001 album White Blood Cells, plus new recordings of the track, including one by The Woodstation Elementary School Singers.

We're Going to Be Friends will be released November 7 by White's Third Man Books.
