Why Little Big Town's "Happy People" may be "The Best (Country) Song of 2017 (So Far)"

ABC RadioEntertainment Weekly ranks Little Big Town’s “Happy People” #2 on its list of “The Best Songs of 2017 (So Far).”  The magazine praises the tune for its “heartwarming message of inclusivity that transcends party lines.” It happens to be the only country entry on the publication's 10-song tally.

When it comes to albums, Chris Stapleton’s From A Room:  Volume 1 is the top country entry on EW’s rundown, coming in at #3 alongside the latest efforts from rapper Kendrick Lamar and Canadian singer/songwriter FeistWillie Nelson's God's Problem Child makes the expanded online edition of the survey.
