Jack White interviews World Series champ Kirk Gibson on new Third Man Records single

ABC/Nicole WilderJack White's Third Man Records is releasing a new vinyl single in partnership with the musician's hometown baseball team, the Detroit Tigers.

The seven-inch record features an interview conducted by White with former MLB player Kirk Gibson, who helped the Tigers win the World Series in 1984.

The other side of the single features a song called "Strikeout" by The Brush-Offs, a new band consisting of Detroit musicians, including White's band mate in The Raconteurs, Brendan Benson.

In order to get the single, which will be pressed on Tigers blue-and-orange vinyl, you have to buy a special ticket package to Detroit's game against the Minnesota Twins on Sunday, September 24. For more info, visit

Meanwhile, White is currently working on his new solo album, the follow-up to 2014's Lazaretto.
