JAY-Z honors Chester Bennington at show in England

Bob Riha Jr/WireImageLinkin Park and JAY-Z joined forces back in 2004 for the mashup EP Collision Course, and the rapper, performing for the first time since the death of Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington paused to remember Bennington.

During a show at the V Festival in Staffordshire, England on Saturday, JAY-Z asked the crowd to "light it up tonight for Chester," adding, "Please make some noise so he can hear you all the way in heaven tonight," before launching into a rendition of the Collision Course mashup of "Encore" from JAY-Z's The Black Album and Linkin Park's "Numb."

You can watch the performance thanks to fan-posted audience video on YouTube.

Bennington died by suicide July 20. He was 41.
