Reba's ready to "Sing It Now" on Christian music's biggest awards show

BMLGDuring her more than forty-year career, Reba McEntire has sung on practically every awards show there is. But this fall, the Country Music Hall-of-Famer will add a new one to the list: she’s set to take the stage at this year’s GMA Dove Awards.

Reba is also up for two awards at Christian music’s answer to the Grammys. She’s nominated for both Album and Recorded Song of the Year in the Bluegrass/Country/Roots categories, for her Sing It Now double-gospel record and its single, “Back to God.”

“I am excited and honored to perform at this year’s show,” the entertainment icon says. “Recording a faith-filled album has been on my heart for many years, and to see how Sing It Now has been embraced is really special. I’m thrilled this collection of my favorite hymns and some new songs of hope continues to touch people.”

The 48th Annual GMA Dove Awards will take place Tuesday, October 17 at Allen Arena on the campus of Nashville’s Lipscomb University. You’ll be able to watch Reba’s performance when the show airs Sunday, October 22 at 9 p.m. ET on TBN.
