Flea, Michael Stipe, Patti Smith to play Pathway to Paris climate change awareness concert 

Pathway to ParisRed Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, ex-R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe, and Patti Smith will perform at this year's Pathway to Paris concert, an event held to raise awareness of climate change. The show takes place November 5 at New York City's Carnegie Hall.

Other Pathway to Paris performers include rapper Talib Kweli and indie artist Cat Power. The night will also feature talks from environmentalists and activists.

This year's event will be held on the eve COP 23 United Nations climate change conference, held in November 6-17 in Bonn, Germany. For ticket info, visit

The inaugural Pathway to Paris concert, held December 2015, featured performances from Flea, Smith and Radiohead's Thom Yorke.
