Watch now: The Shins rock in stop-motion in "Half a Million" video

ABC/Randy HolmesThe Shins have premiered the video for "Half a Million," a track from the band's new album, Heartworms. The clip, streaming now on YouTube, features stickers of James Mercer and company animated in stop-motion.

The "Half a Million" video was created using a total of 5,566 stickers, which is technically more like "Half a Ten Thousand." But we don't blame The Shins for not making 500,000 stickers.

Heartworms, which also features the single "Name for You," was released earlier this year. The Shins are currently touring Europe in support of the album, and they'll return for a U.S. outing in September.
