Chloe x Halle "just really want to perfect" their debut album for fans

ABC/Fred WatkinsSister act Chloe x Halle have so far released two EPs -- one in 2013 and one in 2016 -- as well as a mixtape this past March.

But, as older sister Chloe tells ABC Radio, impatient fans may have to wait a little while longer for their full-length album to finally drop, even though they "have songs ready" to go.

As Chloe explains, "My sister and I, we're always creating, because we have our studio at the house. And since we write and produce everything, we're always getting ideas down."

"We just really want to perfect it and make it special and not rush it. We can't wait. I'm so excited," she adds.

As for where they get their musical ideas, Halle says they come "from everywhere and people who inspire us. People like, for me, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, who are just goddesses. And I wanna be that light too."

In the meantime, Beyoncé's protégés are gearing up for their first major acting roles: they'll be portraying college track stars Sky and Jazz in the first season of ABC's Black-ish spinoff show Grown-ish.
