Metallica's "One" soundtracks bloody trailer for Netflix's "The Punisher"

ABC/Randy HolmesMetallica's classic "One" is known as an anti-war song, but it soundtracks a whole lot of violence in the new trailer for The Punisher, the next Netflix Marvel series.

The Punisher follows former elite soldier Frank Castle, who uses his skills to mercilessly hunt down criminals of every stripe after his family is murdered. Jon Bernthal plays the eponymous anti-hero, who's in full force in the new trailer.

"One" appears on Metallica's 1988 album ...And Justice for All. The trailer also features what we're going to assume is a reference to Metallica's debut album, when the Punisher declares he's going to "kill 'em all."

The Punisher is set to debut on Netflix sometime this year.

Marvel is owned by Disney, the parent company of ABC News.
