Credit: Nina OttolinoAndrew W.K. has premiered the first single from his forthcoming album, You're Not Alone. The upbeat track is called "Music Is Worth Living For," and you can download it now via digital outlets.

"'Music Is Worth Living For' is an exaltation of my love for music itself," says W.K. "It's also me pleading with myself to recognize music's eternal power and glory, in the face of hardship and pain. The song is an effort to remind myself that life is worth living, if for no other reason than because of the beauty music conveys."

You're Not Alone, W.K.'s first original album in nearly a decade, will be released March 2. Along with songs like "Music Is Worth Living For," the album features several songs dedicated to the musician's love of partying.

W.K. will be hitting a number of festivals this spring in support of You're Not Alone, including Rock on the Range, Shaky Knees, Welcome to Rockville and Carolina Rebellion.
