Jason Aldean releases new single "You Make it Easy;" new album Rearview Town due April 13

Broken Bow RecordsJason Aldean has released a new single and a lyric video.

"You Make It Easy" is Jason's first single release since his October 1 performance at the Route 91 Harvest festival in Las Vegas, where a mass shooting unfolded that left 58 people dead.

After the massacre, Aldean took to Saturday Night Live's famed Studio 8H stage to play a cover of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down." He eventually got back on the road to resume his tour, and also took part in November's all-star Country Rising concert that benefited Hurricane relief efforts in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and other places that were lashed by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria.

Aldean also announced his eighth studio album, Rearview Town, will be available April 13.  In a statement, he says, "Growing up in Macon, Georgia, I had a chance to learn about so many different styles of music. Looking back on first playing in bands as a teenager, I was just soaking everything up. A lot of that comes out on this record...where I've been, and who I am now.”

Jason will perform "You Make It Easy" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday, January 29, and on NBC's Today on Tuesday, January 30.

Jason's 34-city High Noon Neon tour, launches May 10 in Kansas City, Mo.
