Switchfoot announces new album, "Native Tongue"; listen to title track now

Fantasy RecordsSwitchfoot has announced the details of the band's next album. The 11th studio effort from the "Meant to Live" rockers is titled Native Tongue, and will arrive January 18. You can download the title track now via digital outlets.

"These are polarizing times, where the loudest voice is often the voice of anger or fear," says frontman Jon Foreman. "This album is an attempt to sing that hope into life. To bring a group of diverse songs under one common banner. Hatred is not your native language. Love is your Native Tongue."

Switchfoot will launch a U.S. tour in support of Native Tongue February 14 in Asheville, North Carolina. Visit Switchfoot.com for all ticket info.

Native Tongue follows Switchfoot's 2016 album, Where the Light Shines Through.
