Eli Young Band share a glimpse at performing for US troops following Veteran's Day

ABC/Image Group LAEli Young Band have a strong tie to the military, being that each member of the group has immediate family members who have served. In a new video, the Texas natives document their travels around the world performing for soldiers at the Autec Navy Base in Andros Island, Bahamas; Thule Air Base in Qaanaaq, Greenland; and at the largest U.S. overseas military base at Camp Humphreys in Anjeong-Ri, South Korea.

"It is always an honor to have the opportunity to play for the troops," frontman Mike Eli says in a statement. "It’s incredibly humbling when they thank us for bringing a little piece of home to them when we should be the ones thanking them."

Eli continues, "The sacrifice that these men, women and families make is unbelievable. This behind-the-scenes content is just a small way to say thank you as these extraordinary men and women support us overseas.”

The nearly three-minute clip shows a day in the life of the band as they visit U.S. troops around the world. At times they're performing for crowds of hundreds, while other scenes show the band meeting with U.S.  servicemen and women one-on-one as they share their appreciation for each member of the military.

"When our band was given the opportunity to perform a series of shows at military bases around the globe, we considered it an absolute honor and jumped at the chance," Mike says in the video.
