Have a question for Def Leppard? Visit the band's Facebook page tonight!

Credit: Kevin NixonAs Def Leppard waits to find out if it will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019, the band has lined up a special fan Q&A session that will take place on its official Facebook page on Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET.

Fans can submit questions in advance at Facebook.com/DefLeppard.

The British rockers recently were nominated for induction into the Rock Hall for the first time, after being eligible for the honor since 2005. The group currently is way in the lead in the online fan vote at RockHall.com. The five nominated artists receiving the most votes in the poll will make up a "fans' ballot" that will be included with the other ballots. Voting closes at December 9 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The 2019 inductees will be announced later that month.

Between now and then, Def Leppard will release a career-spanning hits compilation titled The Story So Far -- The Best Of on November 30. The retrospective will be available as a 35-track two-CD set, a 17-track single CD, a two-LP vinyl collection, and digitally.

Also arriving November 30 is a limited-edition box set called Hysteria: The Singles, which features seven-inch vinyl versions of all of the singles from Def Leppard's massively successful 1987 album, Hysteria, plus two bonus singles exclusive to the release.

Def Leppard also recently issued a new original holiday single called "We All Need Christmas."

The band currently is touring Australia and New Zealand with The Scorpions, and will launch a U.K. trek with Cheap Trick in December.
