Can't knock the hustle: Weezer's Rivers Cuomo presenting at this week's Game Awards

ABC/Randy HolmesWeezer frontman Rivers Cuomo will shift his blessings from the rains to the games as a presenter at the 2018 Game Awards, held this Thursday, December 6.

According to the show's producer, Geoff Keighly, Cuomo, who previously performed with Weezer at the 2008 Game Awards, will be introducing the first live performance of "Devil Trigger," a song from the upcoming Devil May Cry 5 video game.

As its name suggests, the Game Awards honor the biggest and best video games of the year. The 2018 Game of the Year nominees are Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Celeste, God of War, Marvel's Spider-Man, Monster Hunter: World, and Red Dead Redemption 2.

You can watch the 2018 Game Awards live online at starting Thursday at 9 p.m. ET.

Meanwhile, Cuomo and Weezer are gearing up to release their next self-titled, color-themed project, The Black Album. The new effort, featuring the lead single "Can't Knock the Hustle," is due out March 1.
