Credit: Jeff ForneyAvenged Sevenfold teamed up with the Make-a-Wish Foundation to give a young fan named Desiree a special experience.

During the band's show in Evansville, Indiana last Saturday, M. Shadows and company welcomed Desiree backstage to perform an acoustic version of their song "So Far Away" together.  On their Instagram, A7X posted a photo of the backstage meetup and a video of the performance.

"At the last show in Evansville we had the pleasure of hosting a backstage meet and greet with a very special and talented individual," they wrote in the caption. "Desiree, it was so great meeting you and we had such a good time playing 'So Far Away' with you acoustically. You have a very beautiful voice. We are beyond honored that you chose us for your 'Make A Wish' experience."

The band also shared a photo of the merch package Desiree went home with, including t-shirts, drum sticks and a signed set list.

Avenged Sevenfold is currently on tour in support of their new album, The Stage.
