Soundtrack to HBO Elvis Presley doc, featuring score by Pearl Jam's Mike McCready, due in April

Legacy Recordings/RCA RecordsThe soundtrack to the upcoming HBO documentary Elvis Presley: The Searcher, which features a score composed by Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready, will be released on April 6.

Two selections from McCready's score, a track called "Dissolution 2" and another titled "Rebound," will be included on the deluxe box set version of the soundtrack. The three-disc collection also features a total of 45 Elvis Presley recordings, as wells as a songs by various blues, folk and country artists who influenced the rock 'n' roll pioneer. 

As for the film, The Searcher features rare archival footage of Elvis, as well as interviews with musicians including Bruce Springsteen and the late Tom Petty. It'll premiere on HBO April 14.
