Cardi vs. camel vs. cheetah: "Bodak Yellow" video director reveals rapper's animal issues

Raven VaronaCardi B paid a high price for those money moves in the "Bodak Yellow video.

The video's director, Picture Perfect, tells Genius that the cheetah seen in the visual actually attacked Cardi.

"It was my idea. I wrote it into the treatment. I just didn't know how hard it was gonna be to get a cheetah out there [in Dubai]," he begins.

"We shot this other scene that we didn't use, and he attacked Cardi in that scene."

Cardi also had some issues with another animal featured in the video.

Picture Perfect reveals, "I think I put her on the camel the first time and she just got scared up there, man."

But the show went on and Cardi completed the video.

As of Friday, it's racked up over 455 million views on YouTube.

Says Picture, "She's a trouper, man. If it's for her video and her shot, she's gonna do it."
