Pink, Dua Lipa, Demi Lovato, Harry Styles & more nominated for British LGBT Awards

Sølve SundsbøA number of top music artists have been nominated for this year's British LGBT Awards.

The nominees for Favorite Music Artist include singers who have identified as LGBT, or who are "strong advocates of the LGBT+ community."  The nominees include Pink, Dua Lipa, Rita Ora, Troye Sivan, Tegan & Sara, Frank Ocean and British singer Jess Glynne, who sang on Clean Bandit's smash, "Rather Be."

Demi Lovato is also nominated, but oddly, not in the music category.  She's up for Top LGBT+ Celebrity, which honors both stars who've identified as LGBT and those who support the community.  The awards praise her for, among other things, bringing transgender lawmaker Danica Roem to the American Music Awards red carpet with her.

In the category of Celebrity Ally, nominees include Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, Harry Styles and Annie Lennox, among others.

The awards will be held May 11 in London.  You can vote online now.
