Tyler, the Creator cancels South American tour because "sometimes a duck isn't a jean jacket"

Petra CollinsMonday, Tyler, the Creator announced that he's canceling the South American leg of his international tour, but the reason given left many fans puzzled.

He tweets, "hello, im not coming to south america as planned anymore, sucks, i will be there at some point tho, sorry, i know yall was really really looking forward to it, but uhhh...yeah sometimes a duck isnt a jean jacket...ill be out there one day, holla."

Tyler attempted to clarify that message on Tuesday with another baffling tweet.

He writes, "im really sorry im not coming to SA, like i said, im gonna come just not this week. but you should still go to the fest, check out someone you never heard, you never know what you'll find or who you'll meet. sometimes you gotta close the door to open the window... ."

The "See You Again" artist was set to appear in Brazil, Chile and Argentina this week as part of Lollapalooza's South American festivals.

According to his official website, Tyler, the Creator is still scheduled to continue his tour in April, stopping in several North American cities before heading to Europe.
