Listen now: Kacey Musgraves rides her "High Horse" onto the dance floor

MCA NashvilleThe imagery in the lyrics of Kacey Musgraves' new song, "High Horse," may be country -- they mention horses and John Wayne -- but the sound of the funky track is decidedly disco.

"Why don't you giddy-up, giddy-up / And ride straight out of this town / You and your high horse," she sings on the latest release from her Golden Hour album, which comes out next Friday. So far, the Texas native has also previewed the tracks "Butterflies" and "Space Cowboy" from the record.

"High Horse" is available to stream or download now, or you can check out its retro lyric video on YouTube.
