Matt Bellamy's Beatles cover band books gigs at SXSW and with Roger Daltrey

Credit: Danny ClinchMatt Bellamy is headed to South by Southwest next week, but not with Muse. Instead, he'll be playing a gig with his Beatles cover band, Dr. Pepper's Jaded Hearts Club Band.

The group, which also features members of Jet and Nine Inch Nails, will play celebrity chef Rachael Ray's annual SXSW showcase, held March 17 at Stubb's BBQ in Austin.

In addition to the SXSW show, Bellamy and the Jaded Hearts Club Band are playing alongside Roger Daltrey at the legendary The Who vocalist's annual Teenage Cancer Trust benefit concert, scheduled for March 22 at London's Royal Albert Hall. For that date, the Jaded Hearts Club Band will also include Blur guitarist Graham Coxon.

You can also catch Bellamy on the road this spring and summer with Muse, who are making stops at Bonnaroo, BottleRock and Carolina Rebellion.
