Watch Chrissie Hynde join alt-rockers Arcade Fire to sing a Pretenders cover in London

Jill Furmanovsky; Mary Ellen MatthewsDuring an Arcade Fire concert in London on Wednesday, The Pretenders' Chrissie Hynde made a surprise appearance to perform a rendition of her band's 1986 hit "Don't Get Me Wrong" with the Canadian alt-rock act. You can watch fan-recorded footage of the collaboration now on YouTube.

Hynde rejoined Arcade Fire onstage later in the show for a version of their tune "Wake Up," which closed the night. Fan footage of that performance also is streaming on YouTube.

The Pretenders will kick off a U.S. summer tour on June 22 in San Francisco that's made up mainly of headlining concerts, plus a few dates opening for Def Leppard and Journey. Check out the group's full schedule at
