"I'm gonna be channeling my inner J.Lo and Beyonce!": Look for Lauren Alaina to bring it, onstage and on the red carpet

ABC/Image Group LAIf you're going into Sunday's 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards as the recently-crowned New Female Vocalist of the Year, you'd better bring it, when it comes to your fashion game. Lauren Alaina admits her new title is pushing her glam squad into overdrive.

"I have to be Beyonce this year or something!" she says excitedly. "We have a few looks probably that we'll do. I'll probably wear a look for the carpet. And then obviously, all the winners get to perform -- the new categories, anyway... So I'll wear something different for that."

Add to that the fact that Lauren achieved her favorite look ever at the ACMs in 2017, and the challenge grows even more difficult.

"It definitely puts the pressure on," she explains. "Because now I feel like I have to look even better than I looked last year and the year before that."

"And last year, that Cinderella dress was my favorite thing I've ever done. So we're gonna have to work very hard to top that one. It was blue, which is my favorite color, so," Lauren laughs, "I'll keep my fingers crossed. I'm gonna be like channeling my inner J.Lo and Beyonce!"

Tune in see what Lauren wears, as the 53rd ACMs air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
