Jordan Davis notches first-ever #1 hit with "Singles You Up"

ABC RadioNewcomer Jordan Davis takes the No. 1 spot on the Billboard country airplay chart this week with his debut single, “Singles You Up.” The song is featured on his latest album, Home State, released last month.

“From the bottom of my heart, I’m so grateful to the fans, country radio and everyone who helped make ‘Singles You Up’ the number one song in the country,” Jordan says in a statement. “Thank you for making this past year the best year of my life.”

"Singles You Up" isn't the only success the singer-songwriter is enjoying. Jordan's debut album Home State marks the highest-selling debut album for a solo country artist this year. The Louisiana native co-wrote each of the 12 tracks on the album.

After wrapping his own headlining tour, Jordan will join Jake Owen’s Life’s Whatcha Make It Tour this summer.  The tour, which also includes Chris Janson, will feature the singers performing at minor league baseball parks across the country throughout the summer.
