I'm focused: Kanye West says he got rid of his phone to work on forthcoming albums

The rapper tells his fans via Twitter on Tuesday that the reason he hasn't answered his phone in the last two weeks is because he no longer has it.

He writes, "for anyone whose [sic] tried to text or call me in the past 2 weeks I got rid of that phone so I could focus on these albums."

In another tweet, Ye shared video proof of his hard work in the studio: He's seen jamming along to a beat in front of a laptop and keyboard.

A whiteboard in front of the superstar shows two rows, with the words "Ye" on top of one and "Kids" on top of the other, and what looks like potential song titles under each.

As previously reported, Ye's wife Kim Kardashian-West confirmed on a recent episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan that her hubby is "in Wyoming recording."

"He has a couple albums coming out, so he's just focused on that," she said. Rumors about Ye working with Travis in Jackson Hole, Wyoming first surfaced back in March.

Kanye's forthcoming albums are a new solo disc and a joint studio project with Kid Cudi

His solo album will contain seven songs and will arrive June 1, while his disc with Cudi, due June 8, will be released under the group name Kids See Ghost

The titles of both albums have yet to be revealed.
