Korn's Jonathan Davis wants to write a "dark, metal musical"

Courtesy of Press Here PublicityKorn's music has always had a sense of theatricality to it, and it turns out that frontman Jonathan Davis wants to bring that theatricality all the way to the neon lights of Broadway.

"I would love to write a musical!" Davis tells Kerrang!.

Apparently, Davis had talked with British author and filmmaker Clive Barker about writing a "dark, f***ed-up musical," but, as he puts it, "people get busy and it didn't happen."

"It's definitely on my bucket list to do a really dark, metal musical -- not some stupid-a** one," Davis says.

While you wait for Davis' Broadway debut, the musician is releasing a new solo album called Black Labyrinth on May 25.
