"My liver's ready -- let's do this boys!": John Osborne "Shoots [It] Straight" about Dierks' Mountain High tour

ABC/Image Group LA Fresh off a tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland, Brothers Osborne will set out on the Mountain High trek this weekend with Dierks Bentley and LANCO

From the first moment the lineup was announced at Dierks' Whiskey Row in downtown Nashville, John Osborne was quick to admit that he and his brother TJ jumped at the opportunity.

"It's an easy fit," John said from the stage, as he sat near Dierks and the members of LANCO. "There's really no question. I mean, 'Do you want to go out with Dierks?' I mean, we'd go out with [Dierks] just for a weekend to hang out. And we get to play music...It was a no-brainer for us."

John went on to reveal that he and brother TJ have quite a history with LANCO.

"We had our one headline tour so far, and it went great. And we had [LANCO] out," John said of the "Greatest Love Story" hitmakers. "And we made fun of them every second that we could, and we're still gonna continue to do that. But we love the s*** out of all you guys, we do."

"And you're a band!" John continued. "And we're such supporters of bands, because we feel like country music needs more bands. That's where the diversity of sounds comes from. So we can't wait."

He added, "My liver's ready. Let's do this, boys!"

"Shoot Me Straight," the lead single from Brothers' new album, Port Saint Joe, just broke into country's top 30.

The Mountain High Tour starts Friday in Columbia, Maryland, and continues on to Holmdel and Camden, New Jersey.
