Watch U2 pay tribute to Chris Cornell at Los Angeles show 

ABC/Adam TaylorU2 paid tribute to the late Chris Cornell during their show in Los Angeles Wednesday night.

At the end of "Beautiful Day," the Irish rockers played a snippet of Soundgarden's signature song, "Black Hole Sun." Bono dedicated the performance to Cornell and his family. You can watch fan-footage of the tribute now on YouTube.

This Friday marks the one-year anniversary of Cornell's death. The musician's family is holding a public vigil at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles Friday night to mark the occasion.
