Ariana Grande confirms second "Sweetener" single will be “God Is a Woman” 

Dave Meyers/Republic RecordsAriana Grande has officially confirmed that the second single from her new album Sweetener will be “God Is a Woman.”

In response to fans on Twitter, she revealed she’ll be releasing that song on July 20, ahead of the album’s release on August 17.

She teased another song from the album, “Raindrops,” on her birthday Tuesday, leading fans to wonder if that would be the next single, following “No Tears Left to Cry.”

“My bad. this was confusing,” she wrote to clarify. “I decided to give u raindrops last minute for my bday. jul 20 you’ll be getting my official second single.”

A fan excitedly asked, “WAIT SO IS THAT GOD IS A WOMAN.” To which Ariana replied, “Yes,” with a smiley face.

Ariana previously explained on Twitter that the track is about "sexual female empowerment & how women are literally everything & the universe is inside of us.”
