Post Malone’s "Stoney" breaks "Thriller'"s record for most weeks in top ten on Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop chart

Republic RecordsWhile Post Malone is enjoying the success of his latest album, the triple-platinum beerbongs & bentleys, his debut album just broke a record set by Michael Jackson’s Thriller.

Malone’s 2016 album Stoney is number nine on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Album chart.  It's now spent 77 weeks in all in the top 10, breaking Thriller's record.  MJ's biggest album remained in the top ten for 76 weeks from 1983-84.

Thriller still holds the record for most time spent at number one: 37 weeks.
