Maroon 5 taps female musicians to remix "Girls Like You," donates to Malala Fund 

222 Records/InterscopeMaroon 5 continues to celebrate female empowerment with their hit song "Girls Like You."

The band has tapped a group of female musicians to remix the song, which also features rapper Cardi B. You can now listen to the remix done by singer, songwriter and guitarist Annie Clarke, who records under the name St. Vincent.  More remixes will be released tomorrow.

Continuing the theme of female empowerment, Maroon 5 and their record label, Interscope, are making a charitable donation to the Malala Fund.  Established by activist Malala Yousafzai, the fund works to remove the barriers that prevent more than 130 million girls around the world from going to school

As you may recall, the eye-catching video for "Girls Like You" features guest appearances by a number of famous females, including Ellen DeGeneres, gymnast Aly Raisman, Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot and Jennifer Lopez.
