Toys on the Chat Show: Aerosmith to perform with classroom instruments on Wednesday's "Tonight Show"

Andrew Lipovsky/NBCAerosmith will make a special appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night. The legendary rockers will become the latest music act to perform one of their classic songs using classroom instruments, along with Jimmy Fallon and the show's house band, The Roots.

The segment will feature Aerosmith, The Roots and the host delivering a unique rendition of "Walk This Way." A photo from the performance shows Steven Tyler holding a harmonica and two fruit-shaped shakers, Joe Perry playing a ukulele, Brad Whitford with a maraca, Joey Kramer pounding on a toy drum and Tom Hamilton shaking a tambourine.

The Tonight Show airs on NBC at 11:35 p.m. ET/10:35 p.m. CT.

As previously reported, Aerosmith will begin a Las Vegas residency dubbed "Deuces Are Wild" next year at Park Theater at the Park MGM resort and casino on April 6.
