Credit: Jeff ForneyNext week will begin with a new song from Avenged Sevenfold. The band is dropping a track called "Mad Hatter" on Monday, September 17.

Avenged Sevenfold recorded "Mad Hatter" for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 video game, due out October 12. M. Shadows and company also recorded music for the previous three Black Ops games, and all four songs will be collected on a new EP.

"Mad Hatter" is the first new song from Avenged Sevenfold since the band canceled their summer tour due to Shadows' damaged vocal cords. Along with the new track, A7X is starting to look towards a new album, the follow-up to 2016's The Stage.
