Beastie Boys' Ad-Rock and Mike D announce book tour

Steve Mack/FilmMagicBeastie Boys members Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz and Michael "Mike D" Diamond will go on tour this fall in support of Beastie Boys Book, a nearly 600-page history of the band.

The tour begins October 29 in New York City, and includes stops in Brooklyn, Los Angeles, San Francisco and London. The events will include a moderated conversation between Ad-Rock and Mike D and a Q&A session. Visit for ticket info.

Written by Ad-Rock and Mike D, Beastie Boys Book takes an non-traditional approach to band autobiographies -- it includes original illustrations, a graphic novel, a Beastie-specific map of NYC, mixtape playlists and even a cookbook. Additionally, the book includes guest contributions from actress/producer Amy Poehler and directors Spike Jonze and Wes Anderson.

Beastie Boys Book will be released October 30. Here are the tour dates:
